Hilfswerk Austria had developed this particular project to facilitate and improve economic and social environment for the sustainable return of pre-war residents in these two municipalities. Within this project we supported three extremely vulnerable returnee families living on their own property, with no regular income, desperately trying to make conditions for self-sustainable return and economic existance they extremely need to be assisted at this stage through purchase of a motor-cultivator, material for stable reconstruction and chain-saw and tools for orchards.
The distribution of a motor-cultivator with attachments was performed on October 30th, 2009. Since agricultural mechanization was very poor in this region, the family now works their land and offers their services to the neighbors and thus earns income.
The second returnee family was supported with purchase and delivery of chain-saw and tools for orchards on December 19th, 2009.
After tendering HWA was purchased construction material for stable reconstruction that the returnee family to village Radici that he installed by themself. The family had improvised stable and 10 sheep but now a proper stable for the sheep and opportunity to keep a cow later on. This assistance significantly supported their sustainable return
The number of primary beneficiaries included in this project was 3 families / 10 persons.
